Everything is Black! (Please help)

My friend just downloaded FH for the first time. When he created his character and when he went in-game, however, he saw nothing but a black background and his character instead of a map.
Another thing I noticed is that on the log-in screen, it showed no trees and flora on the background. Just some hills and water.
Anyone know how to fix this? It would be much appreciated.

Make sure your friend did not download Feral Heart +. As that version is really buggy right now and will always give black screen.

However if it's regular FH, simply reinstall with no other programs up.

If it is just regular FH it may need to be reinstalled to a new location, as some default location are glitchy. C/feralheart usually works.

I have also noticed that sometimes you may have to change the rendering. like when you log in and click play go to options and click on the tabs until you find something where it says change render or something like that. good luck

Your friend may have acidently downloaded FH+.That program is stil la bit under "constuction" It will have an update soon.If not,he did download the correct program I would recommend re-installing the app.And make sure it says Feral Heart not Feral Heart+.
