Can we make macrons on FH?

I'm trying to give my character a Japenese name, Kurai Merod?, which means Dark Melody, but I don't know how to make a macron on FH. Since I can't copy and paste it, I don't know how to add it. If there are certain buttons I need to push, I'm using a Gateway Windows XP. I might be able to get my mom to allow me to download FH and edit the charrie and use the Apple coding, if it's possible. However, if anyone can tell me how to get the macron in the game, I'd be very happy. Or, I'd at least like to know if it's possible.

I believe that using non English letters like that crashes the game, although that may just be in the chat, I'm not sure... (Not saying the letter isn't English, but it isn't found on a English keyboard.) But I'm not certain about it. I know that typing certain letters in the chat can crash your game... Not sure if it would work with character names though >.>
