That's an even worse mate beggar! You really know about mate begging! And thanks for telling me a am not a true mate beggar! When they see me ask for mates the bully me witch isn't fair! Do you think I can report them? I don't mean you cuase you don't accuse people for asking for a mate but maybe we can report the antimate beggars who accuse fuals mate beggars?
  

If they are harassing you to a extreme, swearing, and other such reportable stuff, then go ahead, and report them. But being against mate begging itself is not against the rules, and over reacting to someone looking for a mate isn't against the rules either.

The most likely reason that people find this annoying is if you post it in General chat. Saying that exactly implies that you are begging for a mate. Why would you say "howls for a mate" if you were not looking for a mate?

The people on FH are not annoyed by having mates in general, it is the "mate beggars" that constantly ask for mates in the chats. Many people in FH want to use the chat as a way to communicate with their friends and other players, and yes, they will be annoyed by someone constantly asking for a mate.

That's my opinion on the matter, anyway. I get quite annoyed by the hoards of people who just constantly beg for a mate/to be your mate. Sure, having a mate is nice, as a friend that you always spend time with, but the whole buttswing/mating thing is just... obcene. And another pet peeve: people just naming their characters "Wolf F" so they can get mates. D:

I dislike antimate beggers as well, because I have noticed that they have a habit of spamming more than the mate beggers themselves.
There have been SO many times when I would be at the plains with general turned on, and I would see this:
"Someone": Any male wolves need a female?
"Someone else": Ugh, mate beggers.
"Another guy": Can't you spam somewhere else?
"More guys": Man, do I hate mate beggers! Cut that crap out!

I understand when someone is going "I NEED A MATE, I NEED A MATE, I NEED A MATE" over and over again, but when someone asks once or twice it's really not as bad as everyone makes it out to be.
Plus, it's any easy way to find someone who will RP as your mate.

Well, a way to avoid the whole argument all together, for those of you who just can't stand true mate beggers, block them. Problem solved. For those of you who start yelling and spamming the mate beggers, you are just as bad as them. Calm down, and take it maturely. Ignore the mate beggers, if they are spamming the chat, like I said, ban them! Don't start yelling: "OH MAI GAWD IT'S A MATE BEGGER, MAKE IT STOP" Because we all know it is obviously a mate begger for one, and gah...those of you who yell it out are seriously looking for trouble. >.< Yelling at a true mate begger won't make them stop. Yelling at someone politely advertiseing for a mate, is just flat out rude. Though, personally, I don't understand what is so amazing about having a mate! XDDD
