Cape Portal is too far away?

So, I'm in Ficho Caverns and I finally found the portal to Cape of Distant Worlds, and I have FeralHeart Plus btw. So I can see the portal, and I go into that thing that makes you float in the air, and I try to get close the the blue ball on the ceiling (I think thats the portal) but I can't get inside it. Help? I reeeeally need to get my map!

cape portal in fh+ is above the star pool. i hope thats where your talking about. if you rise aaaalll the way to the top it should let you into the portal. if not its probably because fh+ is having some major glitches and bugs at the moment.

How do you rise? Because when I start floating, I just stay there.
