Map Problem. Please help!

Okay, one of my characters went into this map, however, I got one of those "Failure to Connect to Map Server" things and tried again. But the same thing kept coming up. I've heard of characters getting "eaten" by custom-made maps, and I fear this is what happened to me. It's where you are unable to use that character again and you have to make a different one. But the avatar that I made had a rather large group and was the leader of it; I don't want to delete my character due to the dis-banning of the group. If there is some way to get that character out of the malfunctioning map without having to delete it, please tell me what to do. Thank you.

I had a similar problem once and what I had to do was delete the map and then log in resulting in it being a simple black screen then I just warped home to lonely cave, I am not sure this works every time but it did work for me.

So you delete the map's file in your main FH folder?

Oh no, Your suppose to place the Map files in the Exports file, Not the main FH file that may be your problem.

A thought just occurred to me, what if the map is under construction and/or being updated. Its not my map so I can't do anything. :/ The map is, I believe, a public map; The Darklore Territories.

Just delete the map. If it's in your MAIN FeralHeart folder, then it can't work. It has to be in exports. The Darklore Territories eats a lot of characters. You CAN'T log out inside it or it will eat your character. Again, try deleting the map.
