This was a whole series of stupid things happening in one group.
I had just joined(it was an assassin group, that's important), and the alphas announced we were going to Sky's Rim. So we set off, and naturally when I got to Ascension I started right away. This is when things started getting dumb.
Most of us started, and then after a few minutes the female alpha told everyone we had to come down to the bottom because we were going to race. We obliged, begrudgingly.
Then we started again. I was three rings from the top when the female alpha announced a member who had been away had come back, and we were to come back down yet again to give her a fair chance. We all refused this time, resulting in her throwing a hissy fit. (She herself failed the climb so many times she gave up)
But I and another member reached the top, and were helping another member find her way up. Then a random person also got to the top, and I thought I would congratulate them. Then the male alpha tells me not to speak in Local. I explained that I was talking to someone outside of the group, and he said that wasn't allowed.
He then went on a rant that assassins killed people, they didn't talk to them. I asked him if he knew the difference between IC and OOC, and that's when he had his turn for the hissy fit. He jumped to the bottom, and ordered everyone else to do so as well, and set our homes down there too.
It was at this point that I left the group. Some people, jeez O_O
