Different Skies

So I'm making a custom map and I want to have one side of my map with a normal sky, and the other side with a different sky... I was thinking of making a big shape on top of one side of my map and texture it to look like a sky. The problem is, I don't have any texture that could do that.
So, can someone make me a sky texture? It should be a dark and fiery sky...

If you are asking someone to make it for you, You should probably make a request in the addons and mods section I believe. Also I dont believe you can make half the sky one colour and the other another, Never heard of that being done before.

You cant have the left/right side of the sky one colour and the other side another. You can only halve it horizontally.

Wouldn't it be possible if I would make a big object that looks like a sky? This is my own idea, so I'm not completely sure it would work. And as for posting it in the mods and addons section, I am also asking if it is possible. I want to know if there is some bug or something with my idea.

I actually did it and it works   The only problem with this method of sky making is that you can't put the sky object too far from the ground or else you can't see it...   So it looks a bit like a cloud of volcanic ash... but that's the effect I'm looking for. So it IS possible to make two, three, four, or as many skies as you want.

For the part of it vanishing on you, if you check the "Is large" tab, it won't just vanish on you when you get far away.
