Unable to Connect to Map server- Still a server problem?

Hi there.

So I just overcame the double-particles issue with exporting maps and got the game to work. I first exported the map, and I had tested it out in the actual multiplayer part of the game. The map worked just fine. I decided to tweak the map for things I wasn't happy about (just moving some things around, no file editing), and I re-exported the map and let it overwrite those files. Now whenever I try to enter the map, it tells me that it is unable to connect to the map server, retry?
Does it have something to do with double-files again? Because I deleted all the extra _0 and _1 files after I exported both times.

I heard that the server issue was resolved. Is this true? If not, is this an issue having to deal with the server or the map itself? It is the only one malfunctioning like this.

It is a fairly large map, to be clear.
Perhaps some assistance?

I think it does not have relation with the particles, it is the server going bad.

It gets solved with a server restart but can continue to fail again after a while.

So this isn't something within my power to fix?
The server just needs a little kick in the pants?

well, if it does not get fixed after the restart of the server, you can ask for help again and i can check your map.

Alrighty, thank you for the help. Do you know when the server will next be restarted? Does it run a schedule?

Usually once a week, I think the last one was Sunday or Saturday.

i believe the server is being restarted more frequently due to these problems. but not sure.

Well, it has been about a week and I'm beginning to get a little concerned.
I've distributed this map, all others who have tried to go into the map have gotten the server cannot connect error message. I'm beginning to think it's my map's issue and not the server.

I checked your map and your map is fine, it is a server problem.
What is Odd it is the server has been restarted a few times since your last post.

You can do something to make your map to work:

-Open your file CatalinaV2.map and edit the line Seed=RMxxxxxx5a
-just change the seed to a different value like: Seed=RMxxxxxx5b
-export it again and and test your map.

Note: changing the map seed will make you unable to see or chat with people with a map with different seed

Well, I looked at my CatalinaV2.mao file and it told me that my seed was actually Seed=RMGfL4UZ5a
I changed it to Seed=RMGfL4UZ5b and re-exported. Still continues to not be able to connect to the map server.

I repeated the process by replacing the previous with  Seed=RMxxxxxx5a and  Seed=RMxxxxxx5b. Neither of those worked either. How many seeds are there for me to choose from? Know any more?

Wait, will this solution only work on my computer if I switch the seed and export? Or will it fix all of my members' issues as well?
