Unable to Connect to Map server- Still a server problem?

When i changed the seed to Seed=RMGfL4UZ5b, your map was working fine, in fact, i explored it and i seen your map is awesome.
I forgot to mention: changing the seed of the map, does not unstuck your characters from the map, it just only creates another instance of the map in the server, so you can enter the map with another character and it will work.

Changing the seed of the map will create another instance of the map in the server, like if your map was another completly different map. Teorically will let you to play the map and anyone who has the same map seed, but it will not unstuck your characters neighter fix the issues of other members.

The "xxxxxx" i have put in the seed it was to avoid to make public the map seed.
You can choose any seed as you want, the are no limits.

I will ask to the staff about when is the next server restart. I keep in mind that the server is being overpopulated and all custom maps are having this issue.

OK, that makes more sense. I've changed the seed to RMGfl4UZ5b, just like yours. I took in a random character and the map works! Thank you for the advice.

But now I have the issue with distributing the map. Does my re-exporting the map change the .fho .fhm .fhs etc so that their seeds match mine? I understand that I'll have to tell them to re-make their characters and re-enlist. Or do I have to instruct them to edit their own files manually like you have?

Re-exporting with a different seed changes the .fhm file. is the only one who needs to be shared again with your RP group.

Note: The server has been restarted and now you can get unstuck your chars from the map, and the original map works fine now. XD

HELP! i just downloaded FeralHeart yesterday although i know it because i had it on ther computers. so i downloaded my map yesterday and all but some off my group members have it. me and my last group member online (it was late) went into the map and everything worked fine and very smoothly.then she left and so did i and we were to come on tomorrow. my map was the last place i was when i logged off. when i tried to log on again on that character it keeps saying "failed to connect to map server? Retry?" and i logged off and tried to get on again and it still wouldn't work. nothing i tried worked!!! so now they might be on there waiting but i cant get on!!! HELP!!! i also have 5 bars on my internet connection which is the most i can have. and it worked fine yesterday even when i had 2 bars! now its working even with 5! my other characters are loading though. Help!

Nova, please make your own help thread. anyway, about your problem i can not do anything, it is a problem with the server and you need to wait until the next restart.
