Help with making items and meshes

First off, for my item making, I need the models that I can make items around.

Second, I need a tutorial that can show me how to use Blender 2.62. Hammy's is too old of a version to be of any help.

And I need something to convert things to .mesh files with. Any help you can give will make me love you forever!

There are plenty of tutorials on youtube and the site. They may be different versions but im sure they havent changed too much.

Im downloading this version now, ill test the exporter to see if it works before i can help you.

You may have to download version 2.63 for the exporter. You will need to download the ogrecommandtools, Hammy's tutorial has the link to it.
