Map Making Problems With Music. ~PLEASE HELP~
« on: July 06, 2012, 11:18:54 pm »
Hey, so, I have a map I'm working on.
What's happening is I've got my mp3 files in the sounds, and when I try to use them in the map making area, they're not working when I test the map. I've never had this problem before and yes, I did check to make sure my music volume was up, and yes, the file names were right. I tried a file that I've used successfully before and that didn't work either.
I'd really like some help on this, considering this is the first time out of many, many maps that this has happened to me. o-o

Sometimes when you go to hit test in the map maker, things like rain, music, and sky cycles will not show up because your still working on the map. But if you go into the actual game and enter the map, all these cycle, files and such will work perfectly! ^^

Are you just using one music file or more?
Will be inactive due to work and exams.

There is a file on your main FH folder, which is called 'music.cfg', which you can open with notepad. Your song file needs to be added there together with the correct map name, like in the following:
Code: [Select]
[Mapnamehere]
media/music/nameofyoursong.mp3
I hope I helped somehow! Good luck. [/color]
