- K I N G -
The King is a male lion who is the leader. He makes sure everything in the pride is under control. Also, if he has a mate, his mate is considered the Queen.
- Q U E E N -
The Queen is the female lion who is the leader and mate of the King. She has the same duty as the King, but she will most likely spend time with the females of the pride.
- S E C O N D - I N - C O M M A N D -
A second-in-command is like a deputy, so basically a second-in-command is like the King. When the Queen or King retires/dies, the second-in-command will be the leader, unless he/she does not have a mate.
- G U A R D S -
Guards are the protectors of the pride, and in rare cases, sometimes protectors of the members of the pride. The guards don't have to stay all day at the edge of the territory though, because the King can tell them to come to the territory.
- W A R R I O R S -
Warriors are pretty much very useful next to the ranks above and the healer and such. They hunt and fight and sometimes they will mark the borders. It sounds bad, but it will keep the pride living.
- S P I E S -
Spies are quick and light on their feet. They can be used in hunting and in battle, if they can find some place to hide.
- H E A L E R -
The healer is the healer of the pride, meaning that they heal sick and injured lions of the pride. They, as well as the elders, are respected for their wisdom.
- M E N T O R S -
Mentors are the guards, warriors, spies, or healers of the pride that teach cubs over six months old to train them the skills of a guard, warrior, spy, or healer. The cubs they teach are trainees. The second-in-command teaches cubs warrior skills. On rare occasions, the leaders can train a trainee, which is a huge honor.
- T R A I N E E S -
Trainees are cubs over six months old that are taught by their mentors the skills of the rank they chose; guard, warrior, spy, or healer.
- C U B S -
Cubs are lion cubs under the age of six months. They are not allowed to get out of the camp, and sometimes there will be punishments, but never death if they break a rule like leaving the camp.
- E L D E R S -
Elders are the oldest lions of the pride, known for their wisdom.
- L O N E R S -
Loners are lions that do not seek a pride, but they can if they want to. If they trespass on the territory of The Ring, they will be chased away or confronted.
- R O G U E S -
Rogues are like loners, only more hostile.
