It took us a while to get a scanner in my family's household too, but boy did it make a difference!

What sort of subjects do you draw?

Been a while...and I'm not in my usual genre...o.O

Another idea to come to me just before drifting off to sleep.

I can't get the potion shop theme from OOT outta my head...

I'm still alive! I'm just getting back into the swing of things from my honeymoon, getting my name changed and stuffs--this scene is just taking a while.

That's what I get for using actual photographs for the background.
At least I get some practice using textures on characters.

Gotta say, in the 4 and a half years of being involved with TEF, I've never seen cupcake or cheese deer XD

The fortune teller deer seems like a really neat concept though o:

I've been posting a lot of these under "concepts". I guess you could say that I've been sort of redefining what a deer is--at least for myself. Thus the oddly-antlered deer as of late.

I don't really know exactly where the concept for the fortune teller deer came from, but I like it!

Yeah? The community site has a concept section now? Or are these just personal conceptythingies XD. I haven't been on that site for years.

The community site has a concept section nao.
I've just been posting my art there--I guess seeking out a "comfort zone" of sorts... I don't really know why.

o: ooh.
I think I know what you mean, although personally for me I found it hard in the end. Even though everyone was drawing deer and such, I discovered no one is really interested in what you do unless you're popular. Or that WAS the case.

Yeah--that's why I tried to corner the market on the comically weird stuff.
Never intended to gain overnight fame or anything. It seems as though people are more mature over there and can give you insightful critiques on your work.

....I honestly have to find that hard to believe.  But then again the site's users might have changed since I was there.
