FeralHeart.exe has stopped working
« on: August 01, 2012, 05:09:03 am »
I know you guys must get lots of these, I tried the big guide.. or whatever it was called.. I couldn't find my problem listed on there sadly, and I looked through forums and such.. my problem is this..

A friend convinced me to try Feral Hearts again after I uninstalled it sometime ago. I recently decided to get back on, sadly I forgot my account username, so I just made a new one. I downloaded the game without the patch, seeing as i'd most likely update it after the download. When I started it I set the settings to what I desired. And before the game loaded, while still on a blackish gray screen it said.

"FeralHeart.exe has stopped working."
windows can check online for a solution to the problem."

And than of course it gives two options..

"Check online for a solution and close the program."
                        Or
"Close the program."

I already checked my graphics card and it's up to date, so I know it's not that. And I have enough space on my laptop to play it.. What could it be?

Thanks!,

Well I was looking and only found, "RenderingSubsystem" if that's what you mean.. because I couldn't find anything else that had said rendering. But it didn't say anything about it really.

Well I tried that now, seems I didn't see it at first. I did what it said and it was on the GL so I changed it ti the direct, but it still didn't do anything. Maybe my computer is getting to old? Thought I only got it .. like.. this year?.. I kind of forgot.. but I believe it was this year.

If what Ouka said hasn't helped you try checking your Particle file via, Feralheart>media>particles.
If there is any particles there for example like this, "aura_1.particle" Delete it as they should only look like this, "aura.particle". Try doing that.

Oh I see. And I also tried doing your thing and checked what it said, but there was no "aura_1.particle." Only, "aura.particle."
