Use of textures

Hello all,
I am new to FeralHeart and this forum so please forgive if my simple search did not find the answer to my question. Are we allowed to use textures from this game to modify other games we own? I'd like to use several textures from the misc folder on a map I'm working on for another game. Is this allowed? It might be downloaded by others, but it is NOT for profit. Just would like to know beforehand.

well i would say that terrain textures and some sound files you'll be able to use for another game. Textures that kov has made himself you'd actually have to ask his permission but there are several terrain textures ingame that i know kov himself didn't make. And sounds like Lion roar was actually from the game wildlife park 2. Which is actually a tiger roar instead. As long as its not actually character markings and fur textures i think you should be fine. Everything to do with characters don't move into another game.

EDIT: i also forgot to say meshes that belong to kov don't move into another game without asking his permission first. It's nice to ask for permission and it will keep you out of trouble lol.

I was looking at the waterfall texture and mesh for use in another game map. Do you think that would be ok? Does anyone know if this is his?
How do I ask his permission?

since it belongs to a mesh and im not sure if the waterfall texture belongs to kov or not. But if it does then it might be best to ask a mod like red to see if its free to use. Don't worry most all mods and admins on this game are helpful and easy to talk to. If he says no though simply type in Waterfall Texture in google. Should get tons of textures from there. Get one with at least alpha on it.
