Feral heart Won't Start up.

Hai,

I'm having problems opening up FH, when I do the screen goes grey and then it says "Feralheart.exe has stopped working" and then it closes... I made 2 amazing maps that took forever and I don't want to have to download FH over again. Does anyone have a solution?

Do you have any particles in the maps? If so, the maps exported the particles twice. Go to C:/FeralHeart/Media/Particles and see if there are any files with _0 or something like that at the end. Delete these files. If there are no files, you don't delete anything. Also check your Sky folder too for files like this.

Okay, that didn't help, But I deleted the ones with _0 on the end... :/

I had that problem too and I had to reinstall FH but found out that wasn't necessary. Turns out there was a particle file with _0 at the end in the my_objects folder. Check other folders to see if there are any other ones. And you might have to install FH again.  To do that:
1. Copy Exports/Media/Presets/My_presets/Screenshots folders, copy the Items.cfg, emotes.cfg, markings.cfg and music.cfg (if you have custom music) and paste them into another folder.
2. Uninstall FH.
3. After uninstalling, delete the FH folder.
4. Download and install FH again.
5. Move the copied folders + files back into the FH main directory and let everything overwrite. Now you won't lose your custom files.
Hopefully this will work if nothing else does

My game is even worse now. >.> It's taken almost an hour and it's only copied like 6 files that aren't the big files. My game crashes every time now. I even re installed it.

So it's done reinstalling? Chances are one file is messing it up. Maybe delete the maps you made in the Exports folder (so the .fhm file, don't worry, the maps will still be there in map maker).

Yeah it Reinstalled, but when I try and copy the files it stops. And it freezes, and when I go to map maker my maps aren't there and it freezes when I load the meshes.

Then it's your computer. It does take a while to copy over things.

Okay I got all of them copied. (I found a way to speed it xP) But now it's doing it again!  A grey screen comes up then "FeralHeart.exe has stopped working" And I'm very choked. :c
