Map Limit?
« on: August 20, 2012, 07:14:03 am »
Forgive me if this is in wrong direction, but I was wondering if there is a limit to how many maps I can download. I mean, at the Cape of Distance Worlds I have portals stretching all the way down the little island to that rock cliff at the end. Does this mean I am at my limit and will have to delete some maps to make room if I ever want anymore? And if that is the case, would the best way to get rid of some of the downloaded maps would be just deleting the exports of said map?

Sorry if this has been asked and answered before D: I tried looking for an answer before posting this, but I might just be blind.

I believe this might be the limit, though I have never gotten there so the new portals might just 'pop' up in new and sort of random places.
Though, I'd suggest deleting any 'unnesicary' maps.

Hm, intresting. As far as I know you can download as many as you want, but after awile you may need wings to get to some because the portals will go off of the cape and just be floating in the air. Usually I just get wings, enter the map and take them off if wings arn't allowed.

cape is designed to hold inf amount of maps itll continue off the cape and rising in the sky until you cant rise no more

i think cape map for land until it stars going off is maybe 133 maps total before it starts going off the cape their was an old topic bout cape map total though  on this forums that's more detailed then me

for me  what  i do  is make a new folder called map backups and when i download each map i place it  in their then place the new map in exports then switch of maps that way all you do is copy and paste and when it asks you if u need to replace the file you do too the fact u dont replace everything something on that map could be glitchy so i just back up every map i hve  and if i feel like going to new map delete my maps in exports go to my back up and re paste so id only have like 1 or 3 maps total at a time it really beats redownloading the maps

new folder  - map backup  - inside the folder -new folder map name- place  map their - highlight -copy all file contents in that map folder - paste in  exports
