Her ears twitched hearing something move near by, scenting the air she could tell it was a mouse. She turned and scanned the area, finding it about a fox-length away, she carefully moved into a crouch. She watched it nibble on some dead grass, she steped a bit closer but with the snow there is made a loud crunch, surprised the mouse begain to run, ivypaw leaped into the ai in atempt to catch it but she missed by a pawstep and the mouse darted away. "Mouse dung!" she cursed to herself,  and sat down to lick her paw, it stung and blood dripped a little bit, looking at it she could see a thorn sticking out. "ouch" she muttered to her self and made her way back to the camp "might as well get this looked at" her tail swished behind her.

Ill rp a mentor his name will be Shadowtail.

"Wisppaw, when you leap,make sure you extend your legs entirely." Shadowtail advised. Wisppaw nodded and did a perfect bound into the tree.
"great." He purred. Wisppaw smiled. Birdsong was heard through the trees
"Starling." Shadowtail murmured. Silently she climbed into the tree. The birds still twittered and sang. There were at least seven in the group, there were loud squawking and Wisppaw came back with six in her mouth.(is that god modding?) With jaws hurting she placed them in front of Shadowtail.
"Good catch, this will be a good meal, with those two mice you caught earlier, the clan will be fed for at least two entire days." with a smile Wisppaw went to dig up her catch.
"Please help me carry them." she asked Shadow tail with her small voice.
"No,No you should be the one to carry them back." The smile faded From Wisppaw but she still did as she was told. She placed them all in the fresh-kill pile. she picked up two, one for the med cat apprentice and one for The Medicine cat. she wasn't hungry. She stepped into the den and realized they were gone. She wandered around until she found Featherpaw.
"Are you hungry?" she asked and placed one by Featherpaw and Rosetail.

Ivypaw walking into the camp she had a slightlimp because of the thorn, but it was nothing that Rosetail and even featherpaw could handle. She looked around seraching for them with her leafgreen eyes, she saw wisppaw next to them with some fresh kill, her ears perked and she trotted ver to them. "Hey wisppaw" she  meowed in greating then turning to Rosetail "could you check my paw?" she asked then looking at the freshkill "though after your done eatting". She felt a bit bad making them check her paw when they could be eatting right now so she made sure that it was known there was no rush on it. She sat down and looked at Wisppaw "man with you as one of our hunters we wont ever go hungery" she smiled.

"Wisp paw showed a slight smile and purred,
"Thanks, ivypaw, your pretty good too. But i may be good at hunting, i have to save some for the other clans and since its leafbare i have to let the prey make more of themselves.  You also mentioned something about your paw, are you ok?" Wisppaw asked.

Ivypaw nodded, knowing how bad leaf-bare was illness and death was at a higher rate than any other season. She lifted her paw "ah its nothing i just got a thorn in it" turning towards the med-cats she nodded "i was just gonna get it looked at just in case" she meowed shrugging.
