Map maker problem [solved]
« on: August 26, 2012, 10:04:27 am »
 Hello!
I have -again- a problem with FeralHeart.
I finally finished a big map request today and was totally glad everything was fine. UNTILL.
Untill I moved to the map ingame to see if its working without lag.
Half of my objects weren't in the map.
...
I was like *FACEDESK*.
I exported the map after that to see if this is the problem - no chance. Still the same :(

Greetings
~Sam

Edit: NO clue what it was in the end, but its working again :)

simple fix:

you didn't create custom groups for these custom objects. any objects you have to import into object maker must have their own groups, they can not be grouped with any of the default groups that come with feral heart.

you will have to regroup and replace these items.

Also, a known issue is when testing a map ingame, theres a portal always made from ur .map file. In that portal you can potentially be missing meshs and stuff in it. When u export your map, remove the .map file from ur terrains folder and then go into FH to get the correct portal and see if that works with the meshs, if not then clouds more then right about meshs needing their own object folder
