Window Closes before it Proceeds

The title somewhat fits it x3
m ok so, I pick my adjustments, screen resolution, etc. I click ok and the screen is loading then closes right away :/
I'm using Windows XP, my boot-up for games. Though I also have a selection of Ubuntu Linux Mint 9 and I guess it doesn't matter by the system but Windows is being a derp.
I tried UN-installing so far 3 times, downloading set-up, trying to play it fails, I download the patch, fails again.
I'm an administrator of this computer, I'm running it with Open GL and so far that has always worked for me, not sure why it's not loading passed the point to log-in. Suggestions anyone?

that also is happening to me and I've tried the torrent, but it doesn't work so what should i do?  :'(

Right click the FH icon on your desktop and click open file location then click media then particles. Delete anything ending with _1 or _0

This is happening to a lot of people, including me. There is something wrong with the fh server and the staff is trying to figure out what it is. (a MOD told me this)

When your client crashes in this case it has nothing to do with the server, since the game hasn't attempted to connect yet. Are any OGRE_Exceptions showing? Does "FeralHeart.exe has stopped working" show? Sometimes, small details can lead to a fix.

Yes, it hasn't connected to the server yet, so the server couldn't be the problem. Have you put anything in the FeralHeart folder that possibly could be preventing it from starting up?
