no map

this is my first time playing so hi! when i log on and get a lion and play theres no map or any other lions just this big black abyss! am i not logged on correct do i need to download a map? please hep i am very confused!

You are using FH+, which is really FH-.  You need the normal FH.  I would not recommend getting FH+ until the next update, at least.
