To Make a map Downloadable...
« on: September 15, 2012, 10:15:34 pm »
Hia,

I just finished a new map. One of my friends wants to download it. One problem: I don't know how to make a map downloadable! Can someone point me in the right direction? It would be most appreciated :)

Firstly load your map in Map Maker and then click the "Export" button. Make sure no objects are missing from their object groups or missing textures.

Go to your Feralheart folder and then into your "exports" folder. Inside you will find your exported files such as .fhm (the map file), .fho (object groups), .fhw (weather cycle if you had one), .fhs (the custom sky you created).

Gather up all these files and place them all into a folder on your desktop for example. It helps if you compress it. Some computers you can do that by right clicking the folder>>Send to>>Compressed zip folder.

Upload it to a file sharing site such as mediafire or zippyshare. When its finished give the link to your friend so they can place the files into their exports folder.
