Custom Markings.. Help?

I've tried again and again but my battle against custom markings continues. I've downloaded a bunch of different packs people tell me to download and stick them where people say but I still people as white blobs. What I've been told to do is download the pack, move it to textures, and then unzip. What am I doing wrong in that process? I've looked back trying to find another version of this thread but I didn't find one. Maybe I didn't look hard enough... sorry. But I'm tired of just pretending I see people or looking like a moron with no end in sight. If someone could help me that would be appreciated.

You see people as white blobs because they may have even more markings in their pack than you do. There is no way to truly fix this for good, because some users will ALWAYS have more markings than others. xD Even I see a lot of users as white blobs; simply because I refuse to download more than one marking pack. No need to worry about it, really. :3

Thanks but that's not quite what I mean. I join a group and ask what markings they have and they give me the download and I do all of that and they're still white. So if I'm downloading the packs they say they're using then why can't I see them?

.cfg files go into Feralheart>Fh Root folder.
.png files go into Feralheart>media>textures

Should be all you need, if i understood your question right.

If you need anything else just ask, or give me the link to your download. To make sure Im giving you the right instructions.

As for the blobs, usually they have presets or a different marking pack, as wolffox stated above.

Try downloading Ouka's marking pack: www.tinyurl.com/markingspack2     Should solve your problem. c:

Important: Read the README! files that come with the download. And make sure you put the cfg files into the FHroot folder, or you will not be able to see their markings. (white blobs). If even following this does not work, try reinstalling Feralheart, because there may be something wrong with it. Like me, the first time i downloaded feralheart, i did mess some files up, so i could not download anything, would not show up.

Make sure you're placing it in the correct section, place them in the Preset section and follow the 'readme' if there is one.

Oh I wasn't doing that with the cfg files. That's probably it then. Much appreciated.

i downloaded this on my laptop n worked fine. My home pc, idk whats wrong.

Instructions: Download file. Go into the file,(unless it pops up opened already X3)and scroll all the way down til you find the cgf file. Copy the cgf file. Go to the main FeralHeart folder and open. Paste the cgf file there.(anywhere else and it wont work) It will ask if you want to replace another cgf file. Click replace. You will still have the olf fh markings and new! Hope this helps! ^^
