MapMaker's Worst NightMare! XD

So, I am a mapmaker, and I am in the middle of working on a few maps...when all of a sudden, I accidentally put something in the textures file, and the game crashes, even when I took the thing out of textures, it still crashed. Due to my stupidness, I never made a FH back-up file, and therefore, have to re-download the game and lost ALL my maps (they went in recycle bin, and the recycle bin is emptied automatically once a week. so now my maps are GONE) I have to start all over... NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD Just thought i'd let you know my goof, so that in the future you'll create a backup folder, and so will I...

I feel your pain. xD Once upon a time, I did the same. I was just about to open recycle bin and get them back, and suddenly I forgot what I was doing. I was like "Uhhh...Oh ya, delete." *Click recycle* *Permanently delete all files?* *Yes* Five seconds later: "Noooo, no no no...Why did I do that." xD

XD Poor you. I get "duh" moments like that too, then I'm left wondering why I did that. Oh well, time to restart all of my maps. This should be fun.

never erase your old FH folder until you get a new working copy of FH with your maps working again XD

You should ask for help to the game experts I can fix almost any crashing with the enough time and collaboration. (And if you let me to put my hands in your computer with team viewer)

No worries Thierry, I re-installed the game and it's working again. I just have to re-do my maps (oh boy, work is a-comin')
Magic, It's painful. Really painful. Oh well. Time start start over! (ugh)

I had to do that... with I think it was a 700000(?) Maybe to many zeros...I don't know. But yeah, and I had finished it.
(On my mac btw.) And I clicked export.........

Then I died, My FH crashed completely! And my mac.. I couldn't find the exported files. DX
I died that day... But yeah, good luck with you map.

Now that I think of it this could be a pretty funny topic if you make it themed to all Feral Heart map makers map making disasters xPuRfectDisastRx. And well I am sorry to hear about your little mishap lol. We win some and we lose some sadly but at least it's a good learning experience for next time to always keep a back up lol.
