((Hey guys my writers block is cured <3 I did some in-game FH roleplaying. Perfect antidote.))
"But isn't that good news, Ivorythorn? Then why do you look so sad?" Lizardpaw asked. Ivorythorn ignored him and simply glared as he rambled on while he dug his forsaken holes again. She wrapped her tail around her paws and allowed her mind to wander and clear itself of all images of Rainfrost's death.
"There, shelter done." The apprentice finally said. Ivorythorn blinked, the distant look in her eyes disappearing as they focused on Lizardpaw again.
"You sleep there," He said, pointing to a questionably filthy and small hole, "And I sleep over there." Ivorythorn didn't bother following his gaze, stretching her lithe limbs out and yawning.
"Buzz off," She hissed with a cold glance, padding heavily over to a nearby tree and climbing up with ease. "You sleep down in the dirt, I'll be just fine up here." Ivorythorn said as she settled down on a thick branch and peered down, staring at her companion with vigilant blue-green eyes. She wasn't about to fall asleep just yet, she was content to just watch over Lizardpaw and listen to the sounds of the night creep in.
Stripedpaw released a cross hiss, turning on her heel to face Kestrelpaw and Mintpaw. "What exactly are you implying?" She asked, her voice laced with venom. The calico-tabby stepped dangerously closer, narrowing her eyes at Kestrelpaw. "That my own mother was behind all this?" So blinded by rage was she that she hardly noticed the familiar scent in the air, the pair of violet eyes approaching her from behind.
Bluebird blinked as her brother gave no reaction the news of the silver tabby's death, only asking where Cloverpaw was. "R-right, she's out there too..." She was silent for a while, hesitant to deny her brother something her wanted or asked for. She decided that for his own sake, she had to advise him not to get up. "You shouldn't be getting up so suddenly after your uh..." She trailed off, feeling uncomfortable with even trying to talk about what happened to Eyesore.
Foxpaw stared evenly into his little sisters wide eyes and sighed, smoothing the bristled hair on his neck to appear less hostile. "Alright," The orange tabby gave Leopardpaw a wary glance before turning to Lionpaw with the same stern expression, ready to hear her explanation.
"I...I....was at the nightclan border, not too close to the thunderpath when Ivorythorn captured me and took me to stormclan....I was kept a prisoner there but......" His eyes sparked with curiosity at the mention of Ivorythorn's name, along with a flicker of rage. His innocent sister, kept prisoner in Stormclan all this time? How could they do such a thing?
The golden-furred she-cat explained that she had made a deal with Redear to keep the peace between their clans in turn for her imprisonment. Foxpaw let out an incredulous hiss, "What? You can't trust Redear of all cats! And I'll be damned if I came all this way to find you only to come back to Nightclan with only one of you! You're coming back home with me and Leopardpaw whether you like it or not!" His outburst was rather loud, as if he'd forgotten that they were in perilous territory.
Riverstorm was a bit surprised to find that Sally Bones and Candle appeared to him, but kept his ears open for they usually carried a message when they appeared. The spirits only had to utter a few words, that Lionpaw had escaped, and Riverstorm was once again tearing through the forest to find the she-cat. His paws pounded the snow with each stride, speeding over the terrain until the world around him was but a blur. He didn't bother checking the rothole, when the ghosts informed him of the breakout he had caught a whiff of Nightclan scent, and he was afraid he'd lose it unless he followed it now. Crashing through a barrier of brush and sending twigs and leaves flying through the air, Riverstorm caught sight of three Nightclan apprentices. He bared his teeth and swiped threateningly at them, "Get out of here!"
