Recording problems.
« on: October 08, 2012, 03:08:48 pm »
Sorry if this isnt posted in the right place, all the other forum subjects didn't seem like the right one for this.

Anyway, I recently downloaded FRAPs, and it works perfectly. But I want to upload it to the Feral Heart forum, so I used TinyPic. I got the file, I checked out Video, and then clicked Upload. But it takes forever to upload. And I need it faster. I was wondering if there was any other image/video sharing website that is free and faster. And if there is, please explain the steps to upload the video.

The video is five minutes, fifty one seconds long.

Plus, I can't get a youtube account. I'm not old enough.

Generally, videos do take a long time to upload. There really isn't a place that I know of that is fast.
But even so, I mostly, always, use YouTube, so I guess I can't be of much help here.

If you use fraps, always make sure you encode the clip you recorded such as rendering it through a video editing program like windows movie maker or Sony vegas if you'd have it.

The raw files for fraps are HUGE and I'd never advise anyone to upload direct fraps clips anywhere, the compression on these are close to noone at all and if you render it to something like a "WMV" file you loose more than half the file size.

Maybe you already did this, but if not it's a must.
