game isn't working, please help!

i've only played the game for a few minutes and now when i get on the game it lets me log in, select a character to play as, then it shows a loading screen and disappears! please help.

Well before giving you a ton of tips do you notice any specific error messages when it shuts off? Also I noticed you said you were only on it for a few minutes but are you a first time user or have you been playing for a while and now and this is just suddenly happening? If you're an old user it could be that there's a corrupted, missing or misplaced file after you downloaded a mod or messed around with your files a bit. Sometimes the easiest, although annoying, most basic fix in that case is to uninstall the game and delete the Feral Heart folder then reinstall. Other fixes could be to change your rendering system from OpenGL to Direct3D9 in the main menu options\video settings. You can also attempt to lower your view distance to 0 and remove water reflection also in your video settings.

I had a similar issue a while back, what I would suggest would be to wait for a server restart (Iwent to a mod about this when it happened to me, and that's what he told me to do). Which sadly could take a while to happen.

Kixle, does this happen with all your characters, or just a select few?

it only happens with my main character, and i only have one character it started after i tried going to flourite plains, it showed the loading screen and then disappeared. i really don't want to wait for a server restart, my character was so cool!
also, it shows an ogre rendering setup thing before it starts the game, i don't know if that has anything to do with my problem, but it only started doing that after the problem started.

edit: now, that makes me sad. i can only use the secondary character i created for right now, which means it has to be the character i was playing before that was the problem.

Well if it only happens with that character it could just be the server problem we've been having now. Since the day before yesterday I have been going through the same exact thing you're talking about with my main character Lord Suragaha. Only on that character and in Fluorite my game shuts down and disappears randomly. I enter the game fine on all my other characters and can even enter Fluorite but only on Lord Suragaha do I have have the problem. I can only get on him at random times through out the day. If you want you can use that main character by using the character reset option we have here on the forum on the upper right side of the forum. That should get it out of the Fluorite map. Like the others said you might have to wait for the server to be rebooted, although we'll have to wait for Raz to do that. There seems to be something going on with certain characters crashing in Fluorite so you're not the only one . I have been struggling two days with it now but after several tries the crashing/ disappearing stops and you can enter the game for a little while before it happens again (and no it has nothing to do with the map population whoever suspects that because it happens even when the population is low).

Yeah, sorry to bother, but my game won't work.I've tried redownloading but it stayed the same. Heres what it says: ''FeralHeart.exe has stoped working.'' It never got better :T can someone help?

If it stops working, try using OpenGL to render (if you're using Direct3D) and vice-versa. If switching these doesn't help ; a tip for your character problem. You could try signing into the site [that orange box up top] and clicking 'Character Reset'. Maybe the character will work after it's teleported to the Lonely Cave.
