Well if you downloaded an RP map from a group and placed the files in the right spots (Export Folder) all you should have to do is go to the Cape of Distant Worlds and look for a portal leading to that map. Every time you download a map for the game the new maps will appear in the Cape as a portal, no icons or anything like that. Make sure to restart your game and check for the portal :) Let me know if it's there or not.

If the map files are .fho, .fhm, .fhs files and such, then yes, they belong in Exports as Suragaha previously mentioned. But, if you have a folder and a .map file, they belong in C:\FeralHeart\media\terrains. Portal should show when the map's properly installed.

All maps that you download mostly are winrar or winzip just extract just the fhm. File into you export folder in your FH folder.
