Setting up my map to be downloaded...?
« on: October 23, 2012, 05:56:42 am »
I recently made a map, and am trying to figure out how I can set it up so it can be downloaded by other users. I've looked for any sort of tutorial, and I probably just wasn't looking hard enough, but I didn't find one. Help? Please? :3

Easiest way to do it:(I might explain this sloppy but so you get a quick good idea)

Export your map in map maker.

Open your C:\FeralHeart\exports folder

Mark all the files for your map ".fhm" ".fho"

Send them all into a zip archive by right clicking all the marked files and choose "Send to" then "Zipped archive"

Go to a site like sendspace.com or mediafire.com and upload your zip including the map.

Give out the download link to other users that want the map.

You can also write down which files to put in the download, as the map maker tells you once you've exported.  This is especially helpful if you're using a LOT of object packs like I do, or if you already have tons of maps downloaded.
