I'm talking only about the regular FH.

These are the places (all public) I've found in the game:

Lonely Cave
Ficho Tunnel
Fluorite Plains
Temple of Dreams
Bonfire Island
Cape of Distant Worlds
South Pole
Atlantis
Last Cave (Inside Atlantis)
Ascension Island
Sky's Rim

Are there any more public maps like these out there to discover?

Also.. in the Ficho Tunnel map, do I need FH + to get up to the top or something? That place above the "ceiling" of the tunnels?

Nope, that's all of the public maps in regular FH.

What users mean by the "ceiling" is just when you print screen and jump thus glitching into the side of the wall and taking you above the ceiling.
