A Bit Confused...

Okay so I know the map server is/was down.
But when I pull up the FH forums it says,
 
Game server is online with [any amount ewe) users playing
 
I know your always supposed to see that unless the game is down but for some reason, I cant get in at all.  When I pull up the application(icon), it doesnt work correctly .3. it's like I'm going through a big glitch.  *Pawns Webroot*
Am I missing something here?

Well the game server's actually online... May I ask, are you using Windows, Mac or Linux? "Application" makes me think Mac.

So when does it let you know something is wrong? When you first click the feralheart icon and it starts, or when you log in?

If its the former, it likely has nothing to do with the server.

@Decessei ~ I use Windows ;-; Maybe I should just redownload the game.

@Haruki ~ I click the FH icon (as always) and a few seconds before I see the login page, it says 'Internet Explorer Has Stopped Working.'  Thats been going on for five days now ;w;''

Probably your render system. Go into your (C:) Drive > Feralheart and open a file caled "Ogre.cfg" in notepad or similar application. The top line will say something like: Render System=OpenGL Rendering Subsystem. Change it to the other render system. So if it says "OpenGL Rendering Subsystem" there, change it to "Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem", and vice versa.

EDIT: Still wont work...I'll just fiddle around with things until it works correctly.

It doesn't hurt to try -- though have you been installing maps or particles recently?

Maybe there's an error while downloading the game, is your computer able to run games like these? Maybe your missing a certain file now?

@Decessei ~ Yes I have downloaded RedsMapPack and a few textures for the game, but I cant see how that would be the issue.  I always downloaded things like that before.  (As in before I redownloaded FH weeks ago.)

@SilverTW ~ My laptop is fantastic when it comes to running/downloading things, so I know that it isnt my program files, hard drive, ect.  But it could be a certain file in the FH folder.  I'll just go ahead and redownload the entire thing.

You should check for particle doubles then. They can form in media/particles or my_objects, so be wary.
