Terrain Mask

I know the basics of making a terrain mask, like the first three colors you need to make the terrain mask are red, blue, and green.  I'm curious if I can use other colors to get other terrains, if so, what colors should I use?  I'm using gimp.

I suppose you can use any other 3 colors.
Maybe this will help you with the extra colors. C:

I think the limit is 6 colors, though. Anywho, good luck with your terrain mask. cx

I believe the limit is 6 colors yes, i suggest using red, blue, and green for the first three though seeing how it doesn't matter what colors you use.
