Kaze gazed up at the flower maiden in wonder, lowering her ears as her amber eyes shined. The sweet scent coming from the opened container made her feel somewhat lightheaded and energized, but in a good way. Finally...! It's really her! We've found the flower maiden.
"Great of you to finally join us. Have a nice time playing with the lights?"
Kira's voice snapped her out of her trance. She frowned at him at first, then leered playfully. "Apparently somebody missed me."
Then Accalia spoke up, saying that she could carry the maiden. The silver wolf grimaced worriedly at the black wolf, the smell of her blood intermingling with the lunar flower scent. Before Kaze could argue that it would be better if she carried her to spare her some pressure on her wounds, Accalia left the room with the small maiden on her back, Kira trailing behind slowly. She worried for both of their wounds, and she feared that they were indeed going to come across more guards. The silver wolfess sped out of the room after the others, passing Kira and Accalia in the hall as she ran. The sirens were wreaking havoc on her sensitive ears.
Since the electricity had been shut down, they couldn't take the elevator, so she led them to the stairwell. It seemed that the scientists had evacuated, but surely the guards were on their way to check on what she guessed was the prized possession of the building.
Little did she know that the guards were the least of their worries. A noble had entered the building.

Accalia

Accalia heard Kira and Kaze next to her then saw Kaze go forward, she almost stopped when she felt a tingling sensation on her injured shoulder. As she watched she watched as the maiden hummed a lullaby like tune and rubbed Accalia's wound, she felt relaxed and relieved as the maiden rubber her shoulder. She looked forward again to see Kaze going to the stairwell, she yawned and looked back at her shoulder in time to see the maiden remove her hand and for the wound to be gone, just her stained fur "Wow..Thank you." she smiled at the maiden. "Did you see that?" she asked Kira, she never knew the maiden could do such interesting things. As she arrived at the stairwell she shifted the maiden on her back more comfortably before trotting down the stairs, "How man do you think there are?" she whispered the Kira. She caught a wiff of something strange "A noble?" she whispered to no one in particular, she let out a low growl as the smell entered her nose, "They know were here.." she growled quietly, not wanting to scare the maiden. she knew the noble's were merciless killers when it came to wolves, "What are we going to do?" she quietly asked her self in worry, she knew they had to get the maiden to safety even if it meant risking their on lives.

Akarui let a fleeting smile ghost over her face when Accalia thanked her. Really, I should be the one thanking all of you... The maiden tightened her grip on the wolf's neck while still not choking her. She glanced at the other wolves (whose name she didn't catch yet) as the silver one led the group to a descending stairwell. Through the rush of air in her ears as the wolves gained speed, she could hear soft growling from Accalia. Akarui lifted her head from back of the wolf's neck and peered ahead at the bottom of the stairwell. What was she growling at?
"A noble?" Accalia muttered. Akarui supressed a shudder, something about that word gave her an eerie feeling. From the way the dark-furred wolf was saying it, it couldn't be anything good. "They know were here."

The maiden buried her face in the soft neck fur and adjusted her position on Accalia's back, since she was starting to slip off a little. So we're in danger of some kind...? Despite the creeped out feeling she got before, she wasn't scared. Even if she was a fragile being and if she ever tried her hand at fighting, she would be as useless and awkward as a penguin with a limp, she wasn't worried. One noble couldn't possibly take on a trio of wolves.

Could they...?

(( X3 I couldn't help myself. It fits so perfectly with his character. I had to look all last night for the bouncy pokemon avy. Think its worth it. Ninetales is beast. Wish there was an absol one though T.T))

   He kept running and blinked a bit surprised when Kaze passed the rest of them towards the staircase. Kira started to run faster but slowed down scenting Accalia's scent fall further behind. As the wolf glance over his shoulder about to ask if the she wolf was ok, his eyes widen with his jaw dropped a bit. The maiden they had come to seek was rubbing Accalia's shoulder, miracolusly healing.  "Did you see that?" she asked Kira as he paused in amazement. There's definitely something with this girl. Some girls can act like witches but I've never seen one do magic.

   He shook his head still in disbelief still but froze after smelling the air. A growl echoed from the back of his throat when he recognized the kind of scent. " Why is one of there filth here?" he spat under his breath," Shouldn't they be in there castle playing princess?" Kira tried to piece together what was going on in his mind but the alarms made it difficult to concentrate. "They know were here.." Accalia growled quietly.

   For a brief second, he felt his heart sink with anger boiling in him soon after. He might not know about the maiden as well as the others, but he was certain that this noble would want her. I'm sick of these people posing as the center of the universe, wanting everything that will give them more power... He glanced down at the floor, rage sparking in his eyes, curling his lips back into a snarl of frustration. Kira glared up through the darkness ahead and lept forth into a sprint towards the stairs, passing Kaze to the scent of the noble rashly.

The silver wolf could smell it too. The foul stench that could only belong to one of them. As much as she hated to admit it, they were in deep danger. A growl rumbled deep in her own throat involuntarily, her lips curling upward in disgust. Only one thought ran through her mind then: protect the maiden with my life. Wolves aren't afraid to die.
Her fur bristled at the thought. But while she and Accalia stood thinking, Kira suddenly sprang forward to pass her and continue to the stairwell. A surprised expression came to her face, then her tail raised up straight the way an alpha's would.
"Kira! We need to stay together. We don't know what this noble is capable of," she barked worriedly. Though I have a good idea of exactly what they can do...
Kaze looked back at Accalia and the maiden, noticing that the ebony wolf's wound had healed. The work of the maiden, no doubt - her family had told stories of what the flower girl could do.
Her tail lowered as she looked at them with a determined gleam in her eyes. They were about to confront a noble, more than likely over the possession of the maiden. More than likely risking their own lives. Somehow, finally being with the maiden made her feel less fearful.
"Are you ready?"

Taossul couldn't wait any longer. Darting out of the alley, he ran down the road and across another one. A car almost narrowly missed him, but he ended up rolling over the hood.

"Hey, watch it," the driver shouted angrily, shaking a fist at him.

"Sorry," Taossul called, not even bothering to look back as he ran up the broad flight of stairs to the building. The flower scent was so strong. She had to be inside that building. He would find her somehow, he didn't know the details but he knew he would. Another scent met his nose, wolves. Running in full flight down the hallways, he followed the scent of the maiden. As he ran, he realized the wolves were with her. In wolf form, he skidded around a corner and paused in the doorway leading to the room... The room holding the Flower Maiden inside...

Taossul's hackles rose and a growl rumbled deep in his throat. There was a noble, too.

Accalia

Accalia could feel the maiden's grip tighten around neck, she looked at her then back to Kaze. She slowly made her way down the stairs, not wanting to shake the maiden around too much, she jumped in surprise as she saw Kira charge down the steps "Kira!" she looked at Kaze then back to where Kira had been. Accalia looked at Kaze "Are you ready?" Accalia nodded in determination before walking a little faster down the steps, "Kaze you need to take her, and make sure she gets out of here, okay?" she stopped and waited for Kaze before letting the maiden switch over to Kaze. She ran down he stairs before Kaze could argue, the smell of the noble was burning her nose as she made her way down the dark stairwell. When she reached the main floor she could smell Kira as well as the noble "Kira?" she whispered as she made her way in the darkness. "Hello there." a voice hissed, Accalia jumped backwards and bared her teeth at the unknown figure "What do you want?" she growled. The smell of the noble made her head ache and her nose burn "You're the noble we have been smelling." Accalia wanted to lunge forward but she held her ground "Yes, Yes I am." he let out a menacing laugh that made Accalia stiffen. The noble took a few more steps forward until he was almost face to face with Accalia, Accalia snarled and latched onto his arm, the taste of metal filled her mouth as she held on. The noble stood up and lifted his arm "Bad doggy." she hissed, he waved his arm until she fell off and landed on the ground. She jumped up and lifted her tail and raised her ears "What do you want?" she let out a booming laugh before answering "I'm here for you and your friends, and of course, the maiden." Accalia snapped her jaws at him "You won't touch an of them!" she ran forward and lunged at his neck but was punched away and hit a beam, she yelped but jumped back up and glared at him.

Taossul's first instinct was to leap for this noble's throat. But almost at the same time, and overpowering the first, was the instinct that told him to protect someone else - the Flower Maiden. Skirting around the noble in wolf form, he walked quietly to the Maiden's side and stood a few paces away from the other wolves. He knew they wouldn't hurt her or they would have already, but he wasn't about to go ramming himself into a pack. Whining softly, he realized for the first time how beautiful the Maiden really was. Maybe it wasn't just raw instinct, the stirrings of a primeval soul, that told him to protect her. Could it be something deeper? Throwing the thoughts away, he trotted forward so that he was standing in front of the Maiden and faced the noble in a defensive position. If that noble got anywhere near the Maiden, it would be over his dead body. A low snarl rose instinctively, and he didn't try to keep it quiet, feeling his hackles rise again. Even if it were just he and the other wolf, they would be able to defeat this arrogant noble. As long as he kept the Flower Maiden safe, he didn't fully care.
