Was Banned For... What?

Yeah yeah, I know I'm probably going to get two or three people here saying I deserve getting banned, but...
I was banned about six months ago here during a yaoi roleplay. As many know, 'yaoi' is characterized by male-and-male relationships.
But... First off, we were doing said roleplay in Private Messages, and... We weren't violating any of the rules.
No sexual themes, nothing of that sort. But I was banned for a year for mating/rape.
This was six months ago, and, again, I know this'll get some comments along the lines of 'WHY DIDN'T YOU ASK SOONER?' but my internet turned off soon after, so... Yeah.
Anyways, I don't see it as fair that I was banned for doing a romantic roleplay within the guidelines. I have a lot of stuff going on in-game and can't attend any of it now that I have internet. Sooo... Yeah.

It's part of the rules that:

Keep Appropriate Language And Behavior
Users are also expected to keep any actions representing any sexual behavior such as mating/raping(Buttswinging over another character) AWAY from public maps, ignoring this rule can result in a permanent ban.

You need to discuss that with a mod then not on the forum.
