Item Coding help
« on: December 02, 2012, 10:27:03 pm »
Okay.
So, a friend of mine sent me a mesh, and I'd really like it as an item.
However, I haven't a clue how to code it, and this is what I get:

I'm watching you...
The code I used:
Code: [Select]
[Glasses2]
mesh=glassesstyle.mesh
bone=forehead
offset_f=0.0 1.2 -0.2
rotation_f=23 180 0
offset_c=0.0 1.7 -0.4
rotation_c=0 180 0
So, I'm wondering if anyone could help me fix it? Thanks!

This link might help: http://feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&jfile=index.php&topic=17302.0

I think you need to change the -0.2 to move it more to the left and lower the 1.2, I think that should change the Y coordinate.

Some advice: When I make items I actually import the Feralheart feline or canine models into my modeling program and build around the character. That way when you load it into Feralheart it's already positioned.
Will be inactive due to work and exams.

I see the item is "Big", and i don't know a way to make it smaller.
If the mesh was not made to be used as an item you cannot simply add it
The item needs to be resized first from any 3D program able to edit meshes. Make a request to these meshers who can do it.
