Jade gasp and ran up to her pup,"Shadowdusk are you okay" she asked.

Misha ran up to her brother And nuzzled him, "Are you okay?" She wag her tail.

Shadowdusk's blue eyes gleamed and he cheered. "Yeah! That cougar saved me! Did you see the way he jumped to save me?" He hugged Hanso. "You're my bro and hero!"

Hanso purred with amusement. "It's my honour to serve the royal family  and the pride with my life! You're my little bro!"

Jade smiled, "Thanks Hanso" and walked away.

Misha wagged her tail happily, "I'm going with mommy" she said happily.  When reached close to her mother, she stared to slow down, "Mommy I'm tired" she yawned.

Jade looked her pup, and answered, "okay, let me pick you up" she said, and picks up her daughter, gently on the neck, and walked back to the den. When she reached to the den, she looked at her mate. "Riahn, can you go hunting please? " she nuzzled him.

The king nodded and went hunting with Caladon and Xander, he padded over to Caladon and smiled. "Hello there, Caladon, any trouble?"

The fox shook his head. "Nope, not a thing in the world!" He was happy that he was with him.

Xander froze, he just heard a branch crack. "What was that?" he whispered.

A pack of wolves burst out of the bushes. "Attack!" howled the king.  "Get away from the Aerialin Pride!" snarled Caladon, his claws flashing in the sunlight as they raked across one's flank.

Hanso heard it and he roared. "There's an ambush! I can hear them!" He bolted over there and saw Riahn pinning down the alpha wolf, he needed no help, Caladon was struggling under a  wolf. Hanso leaped into action and tackled the wolf. "Leave him alone!" growled Hanso, biting it's shoulder, sending it away howling in pain.

From miles away, Jade heard a howl from her mate and it sound like anger. Then Jade started to worry and cuddled up with her pups.

Thunder heard the Alpha's orders, even though he didn't like him. And started battling with the other wolves.

Aria saw danger approaching, so she grabbed Shadowdusk and in Jade's and Riahn's den.

Misha looked outside, and saw Aria and Shadowdusk coming with fear in their eyes. She whined.

Riahn slashed a wolf's muzzle and bit it's ear, he pushed it away with his huge paws.

Xander pinned down a wolf, flailing it's paws, he raises a paw and he slashes it's throat, killing it.

Hanso was struggling under a huge wolf's paws, he gasped for air. Caladon's eyes widened as he seen the cougar struggle and with a blow he tackled it.

Shadowdusk gasped. "What's going on, mommy?"

Jade looked at her pup and nuzzled him, "I don't know, sweetie" she said, looking at the mouth of the den.
Aria looked at her family, "Well the howled did sounded like a pack fight" she guessed. Jade just slightly nod.

Misha cuddled up next to her mum, and started to about her father. "Mommy, what about daddy?" She whimper.

Riahn snarled at the raiding wolves, he sheathed his claws. "If you come near here, you'll be excecuted. Leave, NOW!" He turned to Hanso and whispered. "Follow them and see if they'll attack again."

Hanso obeyed and ran after them.

Shadowdusk gasped. "I think the howls stopped!"

The king returned with his trusty captain, Caladon with Xander behind. "We got attacked by a pack."

Zuri follwed Hanso down the tree. "Good catch." she said. She heard the pack of wolves and darted up the tree and over to the attackers. She looked down on the wolves. One wolf looked up at her, she had lost the element of surprise. She dashed down the tree and tackled the wolf, she bit it's ear and growled as it scratched her foreleg. Eventualy the wolf fell and Zuri dashed back to the safety of the treetops.

Clover cuddled close to her mother. Frost licked her single pup and made sure she was ok.

Jade got up and slowly went to the mouth of the den, seeing if it safe to go outside. "Should I got outside?" she asked herself.

Misha saw her mom, and she was about to go outside, where the danger was at! "Mommy no!!" she said running towards her, biting her tail.Jade laughed and licked her pup, "Im not going outside" she said and went back deep in the den.

Aria yawned, "Let's just sleep, so we dont get to worry" she said, and goes to to sleep next to Shadowdusk.
