I really want to make tails as items. If I were to use Blender, is there anything to save it as so it can be used as an item, or would I need a converter to convert it into a usable item extension? I don't even remember what extension items have. I've been off for so long. I've also never used Blender, so that's why I'm asking. I've been watching tutorials and I could definitely pull off creating tails. I'm just not sure about making them usable.

I personally would suggest Blender, mainly because it's free.

Hammy has a tutorial that links to programs you may need: www.feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&jfile=index.php&topic=11025.0

I would use the versions 2.6-2.63 or 2.49 since there are working exporters for those versions. To make an item you pretty much just import the Feralheart canine or feline model and build a mesh around it. Then you can delete the model and export it to a .mesh and try it out in Feralheart.
