Does anyone know how to fix this preset problem?
« on: December 27, 2012, 04:11:58 am »
This only happens sometimes, but when I have coloured a presets hind legs at certain angles you can see a beige colour around the ankle.

It's happened to Vinny's new improved preset (Which I didn't want people seeing till it was done DX) and The Todds preset but not as bad so I ignored it till now.

Not nearly as bad as Vin's preset on The Todd there.

I was wondering if it had something to do with me not colouring the presets on another layer to the template.

But here you'll see it's not as badly seen on a head on angle.

If there's nothing I can do I guess I can live with it but this hasn't happened on any other preset a part from these two so I am very much confused.

There might just be a lighter fur texture at that part, you just need to make it darker, maybe? But I don't see it as a problem, it looks fine to me. Still an epic preset. x3 But there's probably just some light fur texture on your preset. Just check to see if there's anything that looks like that on the ankle of the preset.

Oh! Don't fret about this preset! It looks quite fine in my eyes- however, if you really don't want that tanish colour on it.

Try colouring in your preset's bodys' surroundings- you know, where it's usually that tanish colour- make it black, or white, or cyan- whatever colour you must!

In other words, try re-colouring your preset where the paws are oVo.

Just as Milleniuco said. The preset mat just have an awkward point, but, from what I can see, there is an edge on the preset, I have a picture here of it. Maybe you've just missed out the corner of it:
No longer on the forums. Maybe around the game every now and again.

No, I coloured that part in :/

The issue seems to be on the hind leg toes anyway, as you can see I coloured the whole section trying to get it to stop. Maybe you can see somewhere I went wrong?

maybe you should try coloring slightly outside of the line around the toes, because near the toes on picture you just posted, around it is the same color of baige, so you might want to try going slightly outside of where the line would be.

The UV might not be 100% accurate.
Try coloring outside the lines a bit on the toes and ankle parts?

You both get a nuzzle anyway, because that worked~

I was already over the lines when I used the UV guides so I don't get way that happened, but going WAY over the lines has solved the problem, had to be very ninja because the texture is merged.. C: Thanks for the help guys, I can now put the preset up for download.
