Kalin slowly got up, and stretched a very long stretch. Her muscles and bones soothed and relaxed when she released them. She stepped out of her den and walked forward along the large rock. She smiled, and layed down. She glanced down at her paws, and licked them clean. She didn't know why but she did. She simply shrugged and stood up. She walked down her curvy little mountain with her den on it and then jumped off as she neared the bottom. She splashed into a stream that bordered her tiny mountain.

Skye opened her blue eyes to see the daylight flooding her den, she yawned then stretched and got up, walking around in circles to relax her stiff limbs. She crawled out of the small opening to the den and sighed, the sun glaring down at her. Her throat burned with thirst so she went off in search of water.

She sighed in happiness as the cold water flowed through her body. She glanced around, and then funked her head underwater. Her head pushed to the surface as a limp fish lay still in her tightly clamped jaws.

Rolute searched for his mother. "Mom?" He said, ears drooping. Rolute gasped as he saw his mother, trampled and dead... "Mom!?" Rolute's eyes watered as he ran down, dodging rocks and awakening dust. Rolute padded up to his mother, crying. "Mom... Mom, wake up..!" He sobbed and nudged the lioness's foreleg. Rolute tucked himself under his mother's forearm and stayed, grieving. (JUST like Mufasa's death scene o3o)

Kalin waded through he water as best as she could and then went onto the shore. She then layed down to bake in the sub. Her pelt warmed immeditaely.

Skye found a small lake near by and stopped to drink, letting the cool water slide down her throat and refreshing her immediately. Her ears perked up as she heard a rustling sound, coming closer and closer. She looked up, startled to see a massive herd of wildebeest stampeding straight towards her.
