Missing Out on Updates

   Ok, I downloaded the game, but I don't have any recent updates on the game title screen. The ones I have are from Christmas of 2011-January 2012. Then there's the fact that I want to use the movie maker on the title screen, but it still says coming soon...
   What should I do? I've had this since I downloaded the game in 2011, and it's starting to bother me... Should any of the previously stated be happening...?

The reason for this is a simple and sad one. The game just hasn't had an update since 2011. No one has heard high or dry of Kov recently, so theres really no say on if any more updates are coming to the game. For that reason, many users have taken to editing custom mods and add on's that will increase the "fun" of the game, as well as all the events and contests held by the staff here.

There isn't much that can be done on the staff's side of getting the game anywhere unless KovuLKD decides to pop back in sometime and either drop the project officially or give the master files away like he did with Impressive Title.

Ah, ok. Thank you. Because I have a friend who's got updates, VERY RECENT updates, and the movie maker thing on the title screen.

I doubt your friend has anything more than any of the rest of us as long as they downloaded the game from here.

Your friend could not have had updates. They might have installed some extra content available on the site or something and are tricking you.

But yes, as Cloudfish said, there has no been an official update since 2011. Sad, really. Nothing we staffers can do though.
