Map please help!

I am responsible to make a map for this new rp. Never made one before. I have nothing with .png or anything! Where can I get some stuff to make the map look cooler? Also how do I make waterfalls or streams? Also with the terrain, its suppose to by mountains

(Also, if someone could make the map for me, I would be gratefull! You will receive fulll crdeit, the group leader is fine with someone else maing the map. ty.)

In the future posts like this belong in the Game Help section Emily ^_^ not in the Discussion area. (I'm sure a mod will be able to move this to the right section though).

First off you can refer to this area of the forum for a number of helpful tutorials that can guide you through map making. I'm no expert on map making myself so I really can't explain each process to you but you can find plenty info in the "Map Tutorials" section :

As for interesting things you can add to your maps I'm guessing you mean meshes and what not so you can check here:

As well as what Suragaha has stated there are some easy to follow tutorials on how to make height maps using gimp of photoshop on youtube I will put some links below for you to try out.
