A Standing Chance (Realistic Wolf RP)

Nixon sat quietly at a safe distance, a devilish grin on his face.  Malck flew quickly back, his wings making loud thumps of wind.  When he spoke to Nixon he smiled widely and looked over to Abyss.
"It was nice talking to you, Malcadh, but I must go, good luck surviving."  He spoke in a friendly and playful tone.  He trotted away with Malck flying by his side.

     Abyss growled lightly as her eyes narrowed at him, panting. She was in pain... But, she believed that she HAD to sacrifice her life in order to save the pack. She snarled as she sprung one last time, and clamped her jaws shut on the infectious wolf's throat. She didn't let go until its body fell lifeless...
     Now that it was over, Abyss began dragging herself back to the pack... But, she finally fell, letting out a pitiful howl, that was more like the silence a camilia makes when it falls to the ground.
 
     Klein ran back to the cave, nearly sliding passed it. "SOMEONE!" He screamed. "Abyss is fighting!" He was hysterical, and his words ran by at a thousand miles per hour.

(Lochinmorrin - The path a dead wolf takes to get to heaven)

Nik stood upright and stared down at the small white cub.
"Where is she?"  He asked, trying to keep his voice calm so Klein wouldn't get more scared.

Nixon continued to trot down the path.  He laughed softly.
"That Malcadh will be climbing Lochinmorrin soon even if that cag-mag wolf doesn't kill her in combat."  he said.

   "This way!" He screamed after catching his breath. He began running back to her, the first scent of blood filling his nose. "She was protecting this one wolf named Nixon!" He continued running at top speed, bounding over or through anything in his way.

Nik suddenly stopped, his heart pounding.
"Nixon?"  He said worriedly.
"Yes Nixon."  A stern voice head.  Nik spun around and found himself glaring at his father.
"You cag-mag, free runner, gnaw wolf, malcahd!"  Nixon cursed.
"What have you done to Abyss, Vyrrwolf!"  Nik growled.  It had been a long time since he used a Old Wolf Word and he didn't like it.
"I have done nothing to her, she was fighting a infected wolf when I left her."  Nixon growled.

     Klein's ears pinned against his in fear. He looked up at Nik. "W... What does all of that mean...?"

     Abyss sighed, taking in air as she pulled herself up forcefully. She winced and whimpered quietly as she began limping closer to the sound of voices. But, she had lost so much blood that she was dizzy. Though, it was a good thing that her blood clotted normally so the process of replenishing could take over.
     "You really messed up, it would seem..." A familiar voice said quietly.
     "Alvah...?" She said quietly. "What are you doing here, I thought... You were long gone..." She panted lightly.
     "You're the survivor of our pack. Get up. That's an order." The voice echoed as it disappeared and everything in her world went silent... She was breathing steadily, finally able to sleep.

"They are Old Wolf Words my pack use."  Nik's glace flicked toward Marv quickly.  The Lynx was stalking Nixon, his eyes set on Malck.  He jumped and pinned the small bird, making a distraction for Nik to turn and run to fund Abyss.  He silently preyed to the Star Wolves of the Cave of Souls that Marv would be ok.

     Klein stayed with Marv, unsure of what to do, but help with an unintentional distraction.

     A whisp slowly manifested in the correct direction of the ebon wolf, as if pointing in her direction and trying to guide the brute. It was the spirit of Alvah; his solid white pelt shone lightly as he turned in her direction and disappeared suddenly.
