     Klein's stubby little tail wiggled. "Hey, Luny." He smiled, but he was still in his protective stance, that was actually more cute than it was threatening.

Slayter walked over to Abyss and blinked slowly. "How badly are you hurt?" He asked. Switch circled and and landed beside Aluxia. "Ma'am" He said and bowed with a short smile. "The fight is over. Slayter is not making an attempt to help the wounded." he informed her.

     Abyss smiled lightly, being stoic. "I'm fine, don't worry about me." She winced as she padded over to Marv and nudged him. "I think he's in worse condition than I am..." Her blood was dripping down her side and chest as it weaves it's way down her neck and over her shoulder blades.

     "Is everyone ok...?" Klein asked quietly, but he was starting to get hysterical with worry.

Marv flicked his ear as to object her statement but made to movement to leave his place on the ground among the grass.

"I am sorry this happened.  Nixon would not have targeted you if I was not with you."  Nik said as he sniffed the Lynx's wounds.  He was not just talking to Marv though.  He spoke to the whole pack.
"Nixon had used words you did not know, if you wish I can tell you their meaning."  He looked at Abyss.
"He called you by a very cruel name just because of the color of your pelt."

     She smiled painfully. "I probably already know what it meant. I've been called that in Spanish, English, and I think even Japanese. I'm used to it." Despite her wounds, she stood tall. "The word's become a part of my life, y'know?"

Nik nodded, a frown on his face.
"Malcahd." He mumbled.  Then he looked up and said.
"I did not expect him to come, I left my pack a long time ago without trouble.  But he shouldn't be able to do much harm on his own.  But if my brother lives that could be a problem."

     Her searing yellow eyes gleamed. "We'll worry about it when the time comes... with Slayter leading us, we will come on top and drive him into the ground." Never before had such prideful words left her maw. She turned and looked at the alpha. "No pressure."

Nik forced a laugh before picking Marv up by the scruff and carefully trotting back to the cave.  Marv hissed in objection wiggled in his jaws but didn't escape.

     Abyss limped back to the cave, but waited for Slayter so he could walk back as well, without getting left behind. She winces as she stood still.

aluxia meets her over the rise, "oh no you dont, back to the cave with you." she scolds motherly. lunix nods to aluxia and runs over to slay so he wasnt alone. aluxia shoos abby to the den, she dissapears into the forest briefly before returning with marigold  and cobwebs. the golden alpha pads to abby and lays down the supplies "sit." she orders before beginning to clean and dress her wounds.
