"I will catch up, I must awake Marv."  Nik said and without a reply he turned his back on the pack and ran back to the cave were he woke the lynx.  He gave no reason but Marv could tell it was ergant.

Zanu heard the wolf run back to his friend. he smiled as his paws were finally on the trail again. He loved to travel, to travel to new places. He had seen so much already, and experienced so much. but not all of it was good. memory's flooded down the passageways of his mind, filling each corner. his head lowerd, and his eyes closed slightly.

Nik explained what had happened while Marv was asleep.  With each word Marv's face grew worried and firm.  Nik had to slow his passe for the lynx who had shorter legs then he did.  Nik was a small wolf with a slime frame and he was willing to bet he was the fastest runner in the pack.  It was hard for him to run at the slower passe but he had to wish to leave his friend behind.  He slowed to a walk once he found the pelt of Abyss and moved to walk beside her.

Klein had passed out due to Abyss song. His ear twitched lightly as a fly buzzed around his ears. Abyss sighed lightly, realizing that he was finally asleep. She looked to the brute in front of her, and then to the one that had walked up beside her. She still took caution with every step, careful not to trip. Just as she suggested before, this place was like a death trap... They sooner they were to exit and leave this area behind, the better.

Alayni followed far behind as her left paw touched blood, Alayni stoppe as she looked down to her paw and paused as she continued walking along with the pack, Gretta followed beside Alayni trying to avoid the drops of blood from Alayni, though the group didn't know it Alayni was bleeding. Gretta then mumbled to Alayni quietly though it could be heard "Are you alright...?" Gretta was worried as Alayni had blood dripping from her maw, Alayni looked to Gretta but kept on walking, Alayni then said to Zanu "I am...sorry...my father died from the infection." Alayni looked to her paws as she trotted far behin the group.

Zanu looked back at her and shook his head "Dont be sorry, its not your fault after all" he chuckled. But his face did not show his humour, it had sunk slightly, and his lips were tightly shut. But he raised it again, shaking off the memorys, they were, afterall, only memorys. He looked back at her. "So, what pack did you come from?" he asked.

Abyss made sure that everyone had taken their place in front of her. Once they had, she advanced with light, feather like paws. Her ears perked to every rustle in the overgrowth, whether it was a bird, or a rabbit. She was doing the job that she was assigned to back in her original pack. She also kept an eye on the red-kite that had flown high into the air, making sure it was alright, and wasn't getting attacked.
Though... Now she could hear the sickly breathing of the infectious beings. A deep growl began rumbling in her chest, slowly making its way to her throat.

Zanu flicked his ears at the feas growl and looked back at her "you alright?" He asked her. He fell behind to walk by her side, so he could hear her better against the wind that had picked up.
Khar rode the fast wind, like a red-kite was designed to do on the welsh landscape where the wind was always harsh ((Yay for my home wales, the one that has no weather sence! it snowed in summer))

"I can hear them breathing..." she said, redirecting her gaze around the area, and watching the bird's back as well. "They're close..." she was trying not to awaken the sleeping bear cub on her back, and make him worry. Their scent had gotten closer as well.
Her harvest moon eyes began to narrow. She already knew where they were... but, she also knew that they were no longer in a death trap. For now, at least.
"They're waiting until we get to a certain place in the forest... and they're pushing us towards it..." she blinked and looked at the brute. "Go ahead and stay in front of me. My job is here..."

He nodded and trotted forward, he also looked up at Khar. if there was any danger, he knew Khar would tell him. He could see the bird now, he seemed to be looking down on the forest...maybe he saw them.....
