A Standing Chance (Realistic Wolf RP)

     "Take him and follow the rest of the pack... I'll be fine." She said this with yet another gleam of promise. "I need you to trust me on this. As soon as my job is done, I'll follow you. I promise."

Alayni nodded a bolted off signaling the wolves to follow the other pack as they did.

      As soon as Abyss made sure that they were safely out of the way. Now that she stood alone, the single infected wolf snarled as it charged at the ebony wolf.
      She snarled in return, running in a zig zag pattern towards the infected, teeth bared. Lupus, help my paws to fly... Just like in the lullaby...! She thought as she leapt at it, maw opened to its throat.

Alayni sprinted faster, making sure that the infected wolf was off her tail.

      The body of the attacking, infected wolf laid lifeless, bleeding from its eyes and maw.
      Abyss's maw dripped with its blood as she charged at the infectious one that had followed after Alayni. She bit into the back of its neck, making it turn around and bite her in return. Abyss winced and clamped her jaws shut on the infectious wolf's throat, making its body go limp and lifeless. She panted lightly.

Alayni halted like a horse would do, She placed Klein down lightly as she padded towards Abyss saying "You alright...? And...how did you know the lullaby?" Alayni could read minds and it was her lullaby as well.

     Abyss blinked. Her black pelt concealed the blood stain on her maw. "The wind carried it. My mother always told me that my pelt was black, because the night sky that held the harvest moon was visible at my birth. It's the reason my eyes are the way they are, and a nicer way of saying that I have the worst colored pelt in most of the Wolven race." She gently nudged the cub, telling him that she was alright.

Alayni blinked slowly as she then said "I was known for a kille as a pup my parents even feared me...I was soon banished...my mom told me...no matter how the moon howls in the night...it will never take me down...she said I got my pelt from night fall and piercing night." She huffed, as she pinned her ears back hearing more infected she then said to Abyss "let's go.."

     She nodded. "Right." She crouched, allowing the cub to climb up on her back. She began walking after the pack.

Alayni was good at fighting and was an adult so she knew a couple tricks up her fur, Alayni slinked towards a tree eyeing it and crouching but then looking toward a very grassy land, Alayni backed up and ten ran towards the tree and jumped hitting the tree and pushing off of it, landing towards the destination, Alayni flicked her ear as she huffed and continued to walk.
