Nik allowed the Lynx to heal his small wound without a word.  He nuzzled Marv when he came to him and let him sniff the weeds on his shoulder.  Marv purred and rubbed up against Nik but he stood and followed Abyss.
"You work too hard Abyss.  We are not all pups in need for your care.  Why must you act like it.  Why wont you let us help you."  He said.

Alayni looked towards Nik, shaking her head no, warning him, Gretta then limped over to Marv seeing if he was alright.


((I tried to change my account profile pic and when I hit Change Profile, suddenly it said Hacking Attempt. Any ideas why??))

     She stopped and looked back at him. "I guess I've been alone too long, and I'm used to hunting on my own..." She blinked as her paws began to feel sand under her weight. There was an enormous body of deep blue water... It white capped in the rough wind that seemed to pull at their pelts. "My God..." She said quietly as she looked out over the strange new water.

Nik looked confused.  He looked at the water but saw nothing of interest.
"What's wrong?"  He asked.

Alayni stood up looking at the water as well.

     "Do you see any land across this body of water...?" She said, yellow eyes matching the sun that had begun rising over the horizon of the water, reflecting in all magnificence.

Nik looked over the water then looked back at the black female.  He tilted his head and smiled softly.
"No I don't."  He said.

     "Exactly... The land stops here..." She blinked as she trotted over to a large rock and jumped up onto it. She could see a line of mountain like stones curving into almost a bridge. "The moon pulls the water... If we wait until night, then we can cross. It looks like a land-bridge." She gazed out at the rising sun once again, her shadow stretching behind her.
