     She looked down at Khar, then at the sky. She sighed as she padded slowly to the den and took the scent in. First things first, she had to continue looking for survivors.

Khar watched the dark bird noisily flap away. He frowned slightly then flew up to Zanus shoulder in a few short flaps. Zanu followed Abyss "You ok?" He asked walking level by her side. He too was searching the desolated landscape. It was just like how he had found his own pack territory. There were no survivors he knew of except Khar. So he was desperate to find some life here.

     Abyss blinked as she watched a leaf slink in front of her paws. She jumped a little, then gently picked the leaf up. Under it crawled a very small puppy. It squeaked, then hid back under the leaf. "I jinxed it, you see." She tilted her head slightly.
