((woopie! I'm just gona start off as a loner again xD))
There was a slight whir in the air as a brownish-red blur dashed through the wind. Suddenly the wings were still as a Red Kite silently skimmed the sky, his wings ruffling slightly as the wind streaked through his feathers. His eyes seemed to quickly scan the area below him. In the blink of an eye he had launched himself into a dive, heading straight down. To him, the roaring of the wind was immense, while to anyone else, all they would here was the whistling of the air rushing through his feathers.
His claws extended, and he let his wings open up to create drag. He flapped strongly against the pull of gravity, and the momentum he had already gained. Yet he still landed swiftly on the shoulders of a dark grey wolf.
"What have you seen Khar?" Zanu asked, starting to walk the soft earth path that lead through a forest.
"Not much, though I did seem to see the shadow of something." Khar replied.
"No idea what?"
"No, it was too indistinguishable."
"Where was it?"
"Not far up this path"
Zanu nodded and quickened his pace, the feather tied to his paw swaying to the movement. He would sometimes glance around, seeing the green light made by the sun shining through the deep green leaves, illuminating the forest in a magnificent way. Bluebells littered the floor, making it look like a wonderful violet carpet.
Zanu wondered if what was up ahead was an infected wolf though he didnt slow down to the thought, yet Khar could sense that his common quietness was a bit more tense than usual.
But as water splashed down on Zanu's fur, he was snapped out of the thought. He sighed and carried on, his fur becoming drenched with rain water, making him appear almost black.
