A Standing Chance (Realistic Wolf RP)

   Regret winced in pain as she was lifted onto Aku's back.

Itsune huffed and said "Idiotes..." He shook his head and followed Lexu as she went the other way.

Maska nodded subtly, flashing a weak smile at the fae. Koda glanced up at his dad, then over at the she-wolf, his tail still tucked between his dangling hind legs.

Zanu trotted under Khar, he knew Khar knew where the river was, and was confidently following him. He could sense that there were more infected, he knew they were behind them somewhere. So right now they just needed to head forward. That's all he needed to know to keep them safe.
He stopped briefly every now and then to check everyone was ok, but then continued to follow under Khar, as the redkite flew high above them all.

     Abyss blinked and continued on.

Regret whined in pain it felt like her front left leg was broken, as it went limp.

Zanu looked back as he heard the wine.
"Are you ok?" He asked the limping wolf, walking over to it.
Khar continued  on, still keeping an eye out for infected wolves. Every now and then he would take a look back at the pack, to make sure everyone was ok and still there, but otherwise he scouted out their path for danger.

     Abyss blinked as she kept her head low to listen through the forest through the rain. She couldn't hear anything approaching, but she could hear the river running.
     Li wound up following close behind the ebony femmora. "How do you know that going south will ward off the virus?" He asked, not really sure of how to ask the question.
     "The weather in the south in this planet gets cooler as you head deeper. The place we're headed is nothing but ice, but nothing with the virus can survive, and we'll be safe." She sighed faintly and continued walking.
     "How do you know, though?" He stopped.
     "For one, I was born there. Secondly, we're following the path that someone told me to take when the rest of the pack died off." She blinked and kept walking.

   Regret looked over to Zanu and said "Yeah..I'm pretty sure that freak busted my leg..." She moved her leg a little and whined in pain.

Zanu nodded. "Yeah, well, hopefully when we get across the river we can rest, as I doubt any of those zombies will be able to cross it." He said reassuringly. After a gentle nudge to rise her spirits quickened his pace so he was once again trotting under Khar, who had circled around to come back to the pack.
While Zanu was still walking Khar came down low, so he was flying just above his ear. "I had a look behind us, and I spotted three wolves, I have a suspicion they might be infected." He said to him in midflight.
Zanu nodded. "Go check it out, to confirm it" He said in a serious voice.

     Abyss looked back towards Zanu. "Do we need to wait?" She asked, continuing her medium sized strides.
