     "I see." He said, not seeing any difference in this wolf at all. "Listen, it's not my place to say, but you both would be safer in numbers. Why not tag along with us? We just bagged a whitetail that's too big for just the eight of us."

Itsune nodded and said "Wait a second." He rammed his head into a tree allowing Lexu to cross it, Lexu nodded in agreement

     Li smiled lightly. "Shall we go, then?" He said, stepping in the direction he had come.

Itsune nodded and followed Li, still aware of Maksa as Lexu was to.

Zanu watched as the kill was brought down, then twitching his ears he looked around at the scuffle the stag had made.
He watched Li go with curiosity, but didn't move.

Khar swooped down low enough to speak to the group without stopping. "Just 'round this corner" He said, flying around a tree to reveal a hidden away den, that was plenty spacious inside.

     Li blinked, sensing some tension. "When we get there, I'll try to persuade Abyss into allowing you to join the pack." He said with a small smile.

    Aku nodded. "We're almost there." He repeated for the pup, injured wolf, and lynx.

Zanu smelt something in the air......He recognised it...Suddenly it hit him. "That damn wolf" He growled under his breath. He looked to Maska, wondering how he would react to the 'freak' coming here.

Khar waited for them at the entrance of the cave, preening his reddish feathers.

     Abyss blinked. "We should take the kill to the cave." She said quietly, sensing that Li was accompanied by a familiar horned wolf.

     Aku blinked as he entered the cave, and looked around, making sure that there were no more than rats scampering about. "Alright." He said with a smile.

     Li blinked when he saw Maska before everyone else. "Huh... They haven't moved the kill yet." He tilted his head a little to ponder the situation.
